Wreck-It Ralph- The Junior Novelization

Book cover.

Wreck-It Ralph: The Junior Novelization is a children's chapter book adaption of Wreck-It Ralph that was adapted by Irene Trimble and published by Random House Children's Books. Being a junior novelization, it's the story of the movie with a few minor differences. For example, none of the real life video game characters/cameos are mentioned by name, just a brief description that you can't mistake as to who that character is (most likely for copyright reasons) and Vanellope actually tells the Sugar Rush racers what pixlexia is with Ralph being interested after hearing that, thinking to himself "Huh, good to know" instead of Vanellope only saying that she's not a glitch, just pixlexic.

Summary[]

"Disney's Wreck-It Ralph is the story of a misunderstood video game Bad Guy who longs to be the Good Guy for a change. But when Ralph finally gets his chance, he finds it isn't as easy as it looks. Soon the future of his whole world is at stake, and if Ralph doesn't play to win, it could mean "game over" for every game in the arcade! Wreck-It Ralph: The Junior Novelization retells the whole action-packed story and features eight pages of full-color scenes from the movie."
